What is a QR code?

As used on printed materials, a quick-response code, or QR code, is two-dimensional barcode that is scanned by a user with their SmartPhone. It has become popular with the marketing industry due to ability to store large amounts of data, such a person's detailed contact information or a long, difficult URL. A QR code is typically made up of squares arranged in a square pattern on a white background.

Adding QR codes in PrintSYS is fast and easy

With the latest release of PrintSYS, your customers can now add QR codes to any template or document — even adding it to their own uploaded artwork. To begin, click the Create QR Code button above the editing window. When the QR code window opens, the user is able to choose the type of QR code from URL, text, SMS, contact information, phone, and email.

PrintSYS creates QR codes

After the text is entered the built-in QR code generator will create the QR code and store it in the user's library for placement wherever and as many times as the user chooses.
